all i was

     What began as a solo project in 2002, coerced in to an underground Industrial Beast by sole founding member eye of "all i was", A symbolic figure whose character seems intrinsically interwoven with a mysterious balance of light and dark and whose message is bled through the electronic beats and guitar grinding solos of his music. Suspended in a dark canopy of what orginiated as Industrial, Experimental Goth Rock, Eye's tainted wails and angst driven growls seem a matching assailant, bout against the salient harmony of soul-filled vocals, sometimes raw and pungent, others heard drenched in haunting hollows of reverb, all of which mostly seem grown from their "true to rock and roll" Rhythm and Blues roots. Eye began to write for the project at the adolescent age of 15, elaborating on the core concept of all i was for years, considering and fleshing out several album ideas in the process of it's creation. A low quality demo was released early 2011 via soundcloud, relenquishing earlier rough draft versions of three songs (out of 12) that were to be released on eye's first full length album, "Shades of Violet". Still uneasy about releasing material, eye has delayed the release of any material for the time being as his focus has resorted to Hip Hop in his involvement with "The Diatribe".  All songs under the moniker "all i was" are written, recorded, mixed, edited and produced by eye alone. In due time, "all i was" will make it's official debut in the public eye, however, as eye would say, "the art must be exactly what it feels it should. There is no sense in rushing a true artisitic piece. And when it's ready, it will be right on time."
