Seeing is Believing

eye was born an Irish, French, English, American-Indian, in Ft. Campbell, KY on March 15, 1987 at 11:37pm, inheriting the artistic and fluid nature of a Pisces. Upon his birth, he was brought to Nashville, TN where he was raised by his grandmother. In 2002, at the age of 15, he began writing and recording for his solo music act "all i was", the principal focus of his life's work. In 2005, He began producing and recording his first Demo "Relentless" in Washington, D.C., a 5-track demo that reflected upon an unrelenting urge to give in to violent, uncontrolled anger.
In late 2005, he returned to his hometown of Nashville to form a band with life-long best friend Casey Cunningham. After multiple members and writing several songs, the couple eventually met and formed their first official band "Denervate", as a 3 piece with eye on vocals & bass, Casey Cunningham on Drums, and Jay Randall on Guitar. The band began work on their first full length album D.O.B. (Date of Birth), an album that eye initiated in the mental ward of Virginia Hospital while he was contained and deemed clinically insane after attempting to jump out the window of his second story apartment. The band dispersed in 2006, shortly after eye drove his car off a cliff in Alabama, leading to his focus predominantly on "all i was".
In 2007, he returned to Alexandria, VA in the Washington D.C. area and began working on new material, while extending his studies to the triumvir of music theory, audio production (recording/engineering/mixing), and music business. He built a private studio which he titled "Bleeding Black Records" and began working on his first official release, a 3 track demo of rough draft tracks for his first full length album, Shades of Violet on which he is currently working on- a dark, morose narrative of a couple devoured by their own insecurities, plummeting in to the depths of Hell, inspired by his separation from Violeta Zamorano, his childhood sweetheart and as quoted by eye himself, "the love of my life".
During his time in Alexandria, VA just south of D.C., he co-produced a 5-track demo for Andy Hellfyre, and a number of singles for other artists including an Alice in Chains cover of Nutshell by Zachary Kelly. In early 2012, eye began producing "The ER Experience", an instrumental, techno project with a thematic focus of feelings derived from the Emergency Room and life or death situations.

In May, 2012, eye returned, once again, to Nashville. Continuing his work on SOV, he began to find his perspective on life changing and eventually awakening spiritually on a much more enlightened path. This path lead him to meet his current Hip Hop group, The Diatribe, with which he now actively writes/records/performs.
After much meditation, several revelations, and a great deal of spiritual transformation, eye began to turn a new leaf with the artistic direction of his music under the moniker "all i was". Still wrapping up his darker material, he has begun working on a totally different style of music which has yet to be heard in public. eye has been described as an intense individual.
Passionate beyond recognition, he is constantly involved in a range of artistic projects including, but not limited to, writing, producing, and mixing music, Promoting, documenting, photographing, and filming a variety of bands and musicians from different styles & Genres of music ranging from Country to Hard Rock to Electronic to Street Performance etc. He is currently writing a book, "all i was: Fragments of the Flame" as the basis for a graphic novel directly connected to his music.
Currently enveloped in the writing stage, but eager to play for local audiences again, we may just see some open mic performances as a way of breaking "all i was" back out in to the public in the very near future. Stay tuned for updates and releases_
